  1. Position Number EPA Water 2015-339 is for a recent Masters or Ph.D. graduate to come work with CRE on sustainability and other climate change adaptation projects.

This project focuses on researching how sustainability can be incorporated into planning and preparing for climate change impacts. The selected intern will be involved in developing tools, research products, or other resources to help coastal managers be better prepared to adapt to climate change.

  1. Position Number EPA Water 2015-338 is for a recent Masters or Ph.D. graduate to come work with CRE and National Estuary Program staff on implementing climate change vulnerability assessments, green infrastructure and water resource management.

This project will focus on researching innovative financing policies to fund green infrastructure, sustainable water resource management practices, and climate change adaptation approaches. The intern will also research and design a climate change risk communication strategy for risk based climate change adaptation. More specifically, s/he will research best practices for water resource management and climate change adaptation, and create learning and decision-support products for coastal organizations seeking solutions for protecting water resources.

We will start reviewing applications at the end of January. Candidates must apply through the Oak Ridge Institute.
