Aloha Engineering Students!

The IEEE Student Branch at UH Manoa extends our invitation for you to join us at our First General Meeting. This is the first meeting we’re having for the 2014-2015 academic school year, and we have some very exciting updates to share with all of you. So if you’ve ever been interested in hearing what IEEE does, or how you can get involved with IEEE, head down! We’re open to all majors and there will be free food!
First General Meeting
September 22nd, 2014
HIG 110
Our featured guest feature will be Kevin Miyashiro. Kevin graduated from the UH Manoa Electrical Engineering department in 1997. After getting his MS in Electrical Engineering at UCLA, Kevin joined the engineering workforce, gaining experience at Primarion, Boeing, and Trex Enterprises. He then founded his first startup, TeraSys Technologies, in late 2007.
Kevin will be speaking about his latest start-up called HiBeek, how they got started, what kind of skills they apply, and how students can get involved to gain the skills needed for employment in today’s modern tech industry.
Please email if you have any questions. We hope to see you all there!
