Hope Street Group’s mission is to give educators the opportunity to work together in developing recommendations for policymakers that will be used to improve educator effectiveness. As we move forward in these collaborative efforts, we are pleased to announce a special opportunity for current classroom teachers like you–the Hope Street Group National Teacher Fellowship Program. I wanted to send you some additional information about the program and encourage you to apply.

The 12-month fellowship encourages teachers to be active participants in state and national education conversations by giving you a platform to discuss ideas around and solutions for elevating the teaching profession and providing you with opportunities to meet leading policymakers to present those solutions. The fellowship encourages teachers to be leaders within their local communities by delivering top-notch training for communicating with other teachers, policy leaders, and the media.

In addition to their full-time teaching positions, Hope Street Group Teacher Fellows serve as paid, part-time Hope Street Group staff. They will receive a $5,000 stipend for a twelve-month fellowship period and will work approximately 20 hours a month. Fellows will also be given several opportunities to travel throughout the year.
