The Relationships and Social Cognition Lab (RASCL) at the University of California, Berkeley is seeking applicants for a Post-Doctoral Fellow. The successful candidate will work with the directors of RASCL, Drs. Rodolfo Mendoza-Denton and Ozlem Ayduk, on an NSF funded project in which the effectiveness of several interpersonal and psychological interventions will be tested in improving mentor-mentee relationship for underrepresented students in the Science, Technology, and Engineering fields. Candidates who have a strong background in experimental research in social cognition, interventions, and intergroup research with strong quantitate skills (e.g., HLM, SEM) are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate should have their Ph.D. by the time they start their position. The salary will be commensurate to relevant experience. The position is slated to begin no later than January 1, 2014 and extend through June 30, 2015 with a possibility of an additional year for extension.
