Duties: Under specific direction, participates as a member of the HI-DOT Project Energy Solutions Performance COntact team to achieve department and project objectives. Contributes engineering process or financial task during both preliminary and construction period of the project. Supports the team in achieving business goals by following the SOlutions Playbook and Best Business Practices methodology. Responsible supporting the Project Manager and staff with updating and maintain in project documentation website. Bar coding all equipment and devices as detailed in the project scope of work. Working with subcontracting team as well as the end user in support of the project status reports and training of the project documentation website.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student
  • Sophomore status as of Sept 2013
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Pursuing a major in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Environmental
  • Excellent English language skills – written and verbal
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Internet skills
  • Creativity, initiative, discretion and customer service focus required
  • Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive issues
  • Flexible team player with good interpersonal skills, proactive and open-minded
  • Available for minimum of 20 hours/week
